Kingdom of Heaven

This movie only got lukewarm reviews, probably because it was quite slow in some parts.

I thoroughly enjoyed it, however. Perhaps I'm a sucker for epics, though ;)

The major theme in the movie seems to have been "to be a good man, you help others, and make decisions that benefit the most but do no harm, irregardless of what some others might think. You are the keeper of your own soul, not others".

In this movie, and has been historically, religion has been used as a tool by leaders to motivate others to go to war. Hence, it makes perfect relation to the saying that the top reasons for war have been over land/power, and religion a very close second.

Oooh, epic battles. That reminds me, Civilization 4 comes out this week :)
