Oh, I bet it would be logical to put an interesting article on solar power technology or nuclear fusion here. I think not.

Let's see.. I haven't updated this in a while. No longer do I want to obtain a pHD (maybe someday in the future), working at Link Testing Labs(for longer, hopefully!), still considering teaching someday in the future... Me and Dani got married, w00! As for the future, who knows.

One day you decide to go to grad school, the next day you tell us about this. So NSERC is funding solar death rays now?
Seriously though, that thing is wickedly brilliant.
Yeah. NSERC has redeemed itself in my eyes. If Matt could get a grant, surely I couldn't run into trouble! :P
Honestly though, go for it.
Well, I'm still not 100% sure how NSERC selects candidates. People with higher marks than me have applied, and not got it.
Marks aren't everything by any means.
Perhaps
a) They looked at my job experience?
b) I didn't fuck any of the application form (ie. think of Homer here.. DO NOT WRITE HERE.. he writes "OK". :)
c) "Research potential". Perhaps they liked my sample research proposal.
I guess it goes to show.. apply to everything you can :)
On a serious note, NSERC should fund solar death rays. Perhaps in some strange, bizarre, twisted way, the person researching this might stumble upon a way to effectively convert solar energy to electricity.
